About Us

We believe in doing things the right way—naturally, ethically, and with long-term stewardship in mind.

Our mission is to provide products, services, and educational tools that support beekeeping, environmental conservation, and sustainable land management. But for us, this work isn’t just a mission—it’s a way of life.

We are beekeepers, land stewards, and educators, working to rebuild the connection between people and the ecosystems that sustain us.

Our Philosophy

We practice and teach treatment-free beekeeping—a philosophy rooted in trust, observation, and deep respect for the bees.
We never use chemicals or apply treatments of any kind. Instead, we work with resilient local feral colonies, bees that have adapted to thrive without human intervention. We believe a bee knows how to be a bee better than any human does, so our role is simply to support them.
We follow a surplus-only harvesting model, which means:
• Bees forage freely—no sugar feeding, no pollen substitutes.
We never take honey early. This ensures the bees have enough to carry them through the heat of summer and the dry stretches of the season when flowers fade. Only once they’ve tucked away enough to get through the winter do we even consider a harvest. And if there’s nothing left beyond what they need, we simply leave it. Sometimes that means no honey for us, but the bees come first. Always.
• Our hives are 100% plastic-free. Bees build their comb from scratch, just as nature intended. No shortcuts. No pressure. Just a balanced relationship between humans and hives.

This is Where We Begin

Healthy bees are essential to healthy ecosystems. But the answer to pollinator decline isn’t more chemicals—it’s resilience, education, and a return to natural, regenerative systems.

We’re here to help build that future. One hive, one field, one student at a time.

Business as a Force for Preservation

We’re a for-profit business with a not-so-typical bottom line.

From our bee product sales, we set aside 20% of the sale price to support honey bee restoration, education, and land conservation. That means when you buy from us, you’re not just supporting sustainable products, you’re helping protect wild spaces, working farms, and pollinator habitats for generations to come.

Why This Matters:

We don’t wait until the end of the year to see what’s left over to share, we carve out from the start to build something bigger:

  • Pollinator sanctuaries
  • Restored farmland
  • Protected ecosystems
  • Living classrooms for future stewards of the land

Why We Chose This Path:

Because preservation shouldn’t be an afterthought. It should be baked into the business model.
We believe companies can (and should) create value for more than just shareholders. The land is a stakeholder, too.

Every time you support our work and products, you become part of this preservation effort. You’re helping us protect spaces not just for honey bees but, for all life!
